Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Deposit Ready Clean handles information submitted through its booking service and used by authorised admin and cleaner accounts.
Who controls your information
Deposit Ready Clean is the controller for information handled through this service. Privacy questions and data requests can be sent to hello@depositreadyclean.co.uk.
Information we collect
- Booking and contact details, including name, email, phone, service, address, appointment preferences, access notes, and uploaded photos.
- Operational records such as jobs, checklists, cleaner notes, issue reports, customer communications, and booking status.
- Payment metadata such as amount, status, Stripe identifiers, and timestamps. Deposit Ready Clean does not receive or store full card numbers.
- Account and security information for authorised admin and cleaner users, including sign-in identifiers and session information.
How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, provide cleaning services, schedule and assign work, communicate about bookings, collect payment, maintain service records, prevent misuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
The usual lawful bases are performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations. Where consent is the appropriate basis, it can be withdrawn.
Service providers
We use carefully selected providers to run the service, including Supabase for authentication, database, and private file storage; Vercel for application hosting; Stripe for payment processing; and Google Gmail APIs for authorised business email. These providers process information under their own security and privacy commitments.
Gmail OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted and kept server-side. Secret keys and tokens are not sent to the app interface.
Sharing and international processing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only where needed with assigned service personnel, contracted providers, professional advisers, or authorities when legally required. Some providers may process data outside the UK using recognised contractual or legal safeguards.
Retention and security
We retain records only as long as needed for service delivery, customer support, legitimate business records, disputes, and legal or tax requirements. Access is role-based: cleaners are restricted to their assigned jobs and are not shown customer payment, price, profit, or advertising-spend fields.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to request a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
